Here are 3 simple steps that can put you on track to enjoying a Happy Thanksgiving!

According to a Harvard Medical school study, there are positive mental health benefits to giving thanks or gratitude, ‘gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness. Gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, improve their health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships.’ Harvard Health Publishing

One: You must Plan to be grateful.

It’s time to revisit those two simple phrases we learned in kindergarten, ‘Please & Thank-you’.
(Repeat them often over this holiday to counter emotional clutter and bring about the energy of kindness with your experiences.)

Two: You must Prepare to be grateful.

Taking the necessary actions of being ready mentally and emotionally to celebrate with family and friends. (Listen to gratitude affirmations, create a gratitude journal, and do forgiveness meditations as examples.)

Three: You must Expect the flow of gratitude into your life.

This is a positive expectation based on your belief response about yourself and about life in general. It means that you Allow the receiving of good things into your life and you are also giving permission for good things to come into your life.
