It took me a long time to accept how angry I was with the lack of support from my ex-husband. His non-participation in the day-to-day responsibilities of raising our son, his indifference to
showing up late or not at all for scheduled pick-ups, and after he passed my guilt and regret of staying too long in a situation that wasn’t working.

Creating Sacred Space practices: A simple strategy of First we Get Happy then we do the work.
I’ve had years of experience of clients coming to me with problems that they wanted help to resolve.
For instance, they would say they were
unhappy at work or a relationship. We would then discuss their options, they can keep putting up with it or we can come up with a plan together.
We first looked at what they would like instead of their current reality. In this case a new job or partner. I also gave them a new perspective; to think of having something way better in both cases, which is not always easy to see when we are caught in our dissatisfaction or unhappiness.
Learning Happiness step #1
- You need to unite your mind and your emotion so you are not internally fighting with yourself in your decision.
Next, we discussed what would it cost them emotionally, physically, spiritually, and possibly financially if they didn’t change? Stay in the job, stay in the relationship. And yes, sometimes they chose to let their fear of change win, so they stayed.If they were able to move on and face their fear of change.Then we discussed their willingness to integrate the new way of thinking and behaviour, and we also took a closer look at their values and beliefs. Learning Happiness step #2- You take action based on your now united mind and emotional agreement in step #1. This unifies your body and mind as one whole. You are now working in tandem similar to two riders on a tandem bike. The first rider steers the bike as they simultaneously bring their different abilities into sync by pedaling and finding a rhythm they can both agree on.
And finally, we created a plan to start implementing the new thinking and behaviour.Learning Happiness step
#3- Now you need to practice acting on this tandem thinking and behaviour consistently.
We integrate the underlying old beliefs and values with new thinking and behaviour to create new beliefs and values. We de-clutter emotions on page 28 of my book. We cultivate their life Garden on page 32 of my book. We pull out the weeds on page 33 of my book. I’ve learned that Anger is a very toxic emotion. It is the one emotion that has been scientifically proven to cause heart damage over time. So you really could die of a broken heart because it keeps your
body in a constant fight and flight mode which can also keep you in a Habit-loop of fear and inaction. So no decision to move forward, no progress in changing the situation.It took time but I forgave, I moved on, I healed and I’ve seen many of my clients come to that same conclusion. And then they thrived, they outgrew the initial change of behaviour, habits, and thinking.Managing Happiness:- You now need to make real-time adjustments when your mind, thinking, and actions are not aligned in order to sustain the positive lifestyle effects of being in tandem. Keeping a consistent rhythm of thoughts, feelings, and actions.
This becomes your commitment to training your emotional state to work in your favour and resonating at a high vibration.
